Head-to-Head

Last Five Results: Leeds 24-26 Hull FC (21/7/19), Hull FC 34-10 Leeds (08/3/19), Hull FC 19-18 Leeds (19/4/18), Leeds 20-16 Hull FC (08/3/18), Leeds 18-16 Hull FC (29/9/17)

Key Stat

Hull have won the last three meetings with the Rhinos and have lost just once in their last six opening day matches, although they were beaten 36-6 by Leeds in the opening round of Super League fixtures back in 2013.

Prediction

Playing second in the double-header may make the pitch slightly more difficult to play on for both sides and lower the quality of the game. However, Leeds have a new star signing in Luke Gale and Hull have recruited strongly in the off-season which should make for excellent viewing. Despite being the away side, Hull should have more than enough to defeat Richard Agar’s charges.
