Preview

Huddersfield return home to the John Smith’s Stadium to take on Hull KR on Wednesday evening with the Giants looking to continue their late push for a play-off spot and Rovers hoping to find some consistency ahead of next season.

Luke Robinson will be without key men Darnell McIntosh and Lee Gaskell for the home clash with Hull KR, but is able to recall Sam Hewitt and Matty English as the Giants search for a third successive Super League win.

Tony Smith has both Ben Crooks and Greg Minikin at his disposal again, as the pair look to add to their impressive try tallies this season. Weller Hauraki, George Lawler and Jordan Abdull are all recalled.

Prediction

The Robins mini revival under head coach Smith appears to have faded after hefty back-to-back defeats to Leeds. Huddersfield have won back-to-back Super League matches under acting head coach Robinson and have an outside chance of making the play-offs should they continue that form on Wednesday evening. The Giants should just have the edge in this one.
