Match Preview

Castleford take on Hull FC on Thursday night hoping to snap their three-game losing run in Super League and leapfrog the Airlie Birds on the table. The two teams endured contrasting results in the Challenge Cup last weekend with Cas defeating Warrington and the Black and Whites losing out to St Helens.

Hull FC make one change to their 21-man squad after Josh Griffin suffered a season-ending Achilles injury last time out with Mitieli Vulikijapani taking his place having been recalled from a loan spell at Bradford Bulls earlier this week.

The Tigers make five changes to their squad after their semi-final success against Wire last weekend with Niall Evalds, Jake Trueman, Cheyse Blair, Gareth O’Brien and Daniel Smith all dropping out. Danny Richardson, George Griffin, Lewis Bienek, Lewis Peachey and Brad Graham are the players who come in.

Prediction

Hull FC by 12 points.
