Preview
Good Friday action will see Warrington take on Leigh at the Totally Wicked Stadium, with both clubs aiming to secure their first points of the season. Wire were well-beaten by Castleford in round one, while Leigh proved their doubters wrong with an excellent display against Wigan.
Steve Price has named an unchanged 21-man squad for the Good Friday clash with the Centurions and will be hoping for a much better display from his players after a flat performance against Castleford.
John Duffy adds Craig Mullen and Nathan Roebuck to his squad (the latter on loan from Warrington), with Josh Eaves dropping out. Nathan Peats is not quite ready to make his Super League debut.
Prediction
This looked like being a straightforward prediction a week ago but with Leigh impressing and Warrington struggling in their respective round one fixtures, the Centurions will be confident of securing their first win back in Super League on Good Friday. That said, I fancy Wire to pick up their first points of the season, despite a poor showing last time out, although Leigh shouldn’t be counted out.
