February 15-25: NRL Pre-season Challenge
The NRL Pre-season Challenge will take place over two weekends from February 15, to February 25. Sixteen clubs will compete with the defending NRL Champions, Penrith Panthers set to take on the Wigan Warriors in the World Club Challenge at DW Stadium.
February 16: All Stars Match in Townsville
Embed from Getty ImagesThe Indigenous All Stars game will take place in Townsville on February 16. This will be the 14th edition of the men’s game with the Indigenous side winning 28-24 over the Maori All Stars in Rotorua last year. The women’s game will be played for the 13th time with the Maori All Stars looking to win back-to-back after beating the Indigenous side 16-12.

February 17: Charity Shield
Embed from Getty ImagesThe 2024 Charity Shield clash between St George-Illawarra Dragons and South Sydney Rabbitohs will be played at Jubilee Stadium in Sydney on Saturday, February 17. This will allow the Rabbitohs to fly out to the United States a day later to prepare for their opening round clash as part of the Las Vegas double-header.
February 24: World Club Challenge
Embed from Getty ImagesNRL Champions Penrith Panthers and Super League Champions Wigan Warriors will face off in the 2024 World Club Challenge to be played Saturday, February 24 (February 25, 7am Syd time). These two teams last met in 1991 where Wigan beat the Panthers 21-4 at Anfield.
March 3: Las Vegas Double-Header
Embed from Getty ImagesAllegiant Stadium in Las Vegas will host a double-header as part of the opening round of the 2024 premiership season. The games will take place on Sunday March 3 (Sydney time) between the Sydney Roosters and Brisbane Broncos, with Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles to take on South Sydney Rabbitohs.
March 7: NRL Opening Weekend in Australia and New Zealand
It appears the NRL opening round will be split over two weekends, with the following games scheduled for Australia and New Zealand starting on March 7.
Thursday, March 7: Knights Vs Raiders
Friday, March 8: Warriors Vs Sharks, Storm Vs Panthers
Saturday, March 9: Eels Vs Bulldogs, Titans Vs Dragons
Sunday, March 10: Dolphins Vs Cowboys
Bye: Tigers
April 25: ANZAC Day Triple Header in Australia and New Zealand

The other two games will be played between the Sydney Roosters and St George-Illawarra Dragons, with Melbourne Storm to host the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Brisbane to Host Magic Round
Embed from Getty ImagesSuncorp Stadium hosts the 2024 National Rugby League Magic Round with the contract set to expire. There is yet to be a decision on who will host the weekend from 2025.
The proposed Magic Round Fixtures are: Eels Vs Storm, Sea Eagles Vs Broncos, Raiders Vs Bulldogs, Tigers Vs Dolphins, Cowboys Vs Rabbitohs, Sharks Vs Roosters, Warriors Vs Panthers, Titans Vs Knights.
June 26: Melbourne to Host State of Origin
Embed from Getty ImagesMelbourne will host their tenth State of Origin in 2024 ending a six-year absence from Victoria. Queensland have won 5 games and New South Wales 4. The Blues won their most recent fixture at the Melbourne Cricket Ground by 22-12. Tickets for the Melbourne game went on sale November 9, 2023.
State of Origin game 1 will be played at Accor Stadium in Sydney on June 5, with Suncorp Stadium hosting game 3 on July 17.

October 6: NRL Grand Final
The National Rugby League Grand Final is set to be played on Sunday, October 6. It’s likely to be played at Accor Stadium in Sydney.
