Season to Date

There is no doubt Manly Sea Eagles have struggled throughout the whole season due to contract saga’s surrounding the club. Halving pairs Daly Cherry Evans and Kieran Foran have been making headlines as Foran announced he was departing the club and Daly Cherry Evans causing controversy after finally announcing he is staying a Sea Eagle player for life. These contract dramas in coherence with key players being out injured in the first couple of games had a huge effect on Manly’s results. The injury list at the beginning of the season was endless missing favourites such as Jamie Lyon, Jamie Buhrer, Steve Matai, Brett Stewart and Kieran Foran. Without these key players the Sea Eagles have struggled since round 1 to find form.

Finals Bound?

With finals being just around the corner it may be too late for the Sea Eagles to make the top 8. However they will definitely be looking to improve and stay away from the Wooden Spoon, as they haven’t received the wooden spoon since 1947.
