Danny Richardson – St Helens

St Helens were the benchmark for the entire league last season and Danny Richardson was one of the reasons why. His combinations with James Roby, Jonny Lomax, and Ben Barba were terrific for a young lad, playing in his first season for the Red V.ย  He did exceed expectations, but will need to step up without Ben Barba. His skills and know how as a very young scrum half are second to none for his age. His arrogance, portrayed in a good way is great and the confidence he plays with it good to see from a St Helens perspective but can he carry on what he did in 2018, over to 2019? The transition is tough, because sports stars need to be consistent, especially when you play for a side as strong and solid as the Saints.
