Preview
Both teams have shown improved form since the restart with Rovers impressing in recent weeks and Leeds claiming back-to-back wins. These two met in the 2015 Challenge Cup final with the Rhinos triumphing 50-0 at Wembley.
Leeds have made a raft of changes from the squad that beat Huddersfield, with Brad Dwyer and Alex Sutcliffe both suspended. Bodene Thompson, Brett Ferres and James Harrison are all Cup-tied. Matt Prior, Rhyse Martin, Luke Briscoe, Tom Holroyd and Alex Mellor return.
Hull KR have looked impressive in their last two outings against Wigan and St Helens and have made minimal changes to their squad for this one. Robbie Mulhern and Jamie Ellis return with Jordan Abdull serving a two-match suspension.
Prediction
Rovers were desperately unlucky to lose to St Helens in Golden Point extra-time last week, but if they produce a repeat of that performance on Friday Tony Smith’s side should book their place in the semi-finals. Leeds claimed another one-point win against Huddersfield in their last outing but will need to improve if they are to beat a revived Hull KR side.
