Match Preview

Wakefield take on Castleford at the Mobile Rocket Stadium on Wednesday night as they aim to end the Tigers remarkable 14-game winning run in this fixture. Trinity have won three of their last four in the league whilst Cas have slumped to one win in six.

The Dreadnoughts make two changes to their 21-man squad from last week’s defeat to Warrington with Matty Ashurst back from suspension and Jordy Crowther returning from injury which means Chris Green and Innes Senior drop out.

The Tigers change four after suffering defeat to Hull FC last time out with Niall Evalds, Gareth O’Brien, Daniel Smith and try-scoring debutant Jason Qareqare all included in their 21-man squad which, after the latter was called up as a late replacement to the side last week. Adam Milner, James Clare, Lewis Bienek and Brad Graham miss out.

Prediction

Castleford by eight points.
