Preview

Tuesday’s Super League action kicks off with Hull KR taking on Salford at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, with Rovers desperate for a win and the Red Devils preparing for this weekend’s Challenge Cup final.

The Robins have Elliot Minchella back from suspension and Dean Hadley returning from injury, with Robbie Mulhern and Ryan Brierley also included. Harvey Livett, Owen Harrison, Nathaniel Peteru and Will Tate drop out.

Salford have, as expected, rested a number of their key players ahead of the Cup Final this weekend, making eight changes from the side that beat Huddersfield. Kris Welham, Dan Sarginson, Tui Lolohea, Joey Lussick, Gil Dudson and Kallum Watkins all sitting out.

Prediction

With Salford making significant changes to their squad, Hull KR appear to be the favourites for this one. Tony Smith’s side have lost their last five matches in all competitions and have only won twice in the league all season but should claim a third league victory on Tuesday afternoon. The Red Devils are on a five-game winning run but might not have the squad depth to see off Rovers.
