- July 5: NRL approve North Queensland Cowboys coach Todd Payten and player Griffin Neame to return to the squad after the recent Queensland COVID outbreak.
- July 5: St George-Illawarra Dragons players receive breach notices for attending a party at Paul Vaughan’s place on July 3. Each player received a one match ban to be spread between four rounds, with the exception of Vaughan who received 8 matches.
