Team Lists

Match Preview

With both sides having a disrupted prep for the game, they have named reduced and concatenated squads with COVID disruption and call-ups for the England and Combined All-Stars game.

Jack Logan returns from a loan for Hull FC, while Darnell McIntosh, Matty English, Oliver Russell, Jack Ashworth, James Cunningham and Will Pryce all make the visiting Giants line up.

Huddersfield are the greater effected of the two sides, with five call-ups to the All-Stars fixture and will be without Ricky Leutele, Jermaine McGillvary, Luke Yates, Kenny Edwards, and Aidan Sezer. On the other hand, Hull FC will be without Jake Connor, Chris Satae, and Andre Savelio.

The Airlie Birds have been in exceptional form lately and come into this off the back of two wins, including a 64-22 drubbing of Leigh Centurions last time out. Unfortunately for Huddersfield, their hapless season has continued and they go into the game off of two losses, most recently going down to Salford by just a point.

Given the polarity of form between the two sides, and Huddersfield’s significantly weakened team, Hull should get the job done comfortably in front of their home crowd.
