Match Preview

Huddersfield host St Helens at the John Smith’s Stadium on Thursday night with the hosts hoping to kickstart their season after losing in golden point extra-time to Hull KR last time out. Saints are sitting pretty at the top of the Super League table after a fine win against Wakefield last week.

The Giants have named an unchanged 21-man squad from the side beaten by Hull KR with Aidan Sezer, Jack Cogger and Lee Gaskell all included as they aim to secure their first league victory of the season.

The League Leaders are forced into one change from the squad that was named against Wakefield with Tommy Makinson ruled out with a foot injury and replaced by Sione Mata’utia who has recovered from a head knock.

Prediction

St Helens to win by 18 points.
