Match Preview

Leigh will look to right their torrid, winless season against an in form Catalans side that come into the game off the back of a 48-0 thrashing of Wigan Warriors.

The home side has positive news in the form of the return from injury of Matty Russell, Nathan Mason and Nathaniel Peteru. Alongside the trio, Ben Reynolds gets back into the squad after a suspension.

Similarly, Catalans make four changes to their side as they travel to Leigh in search of a fourth consecutive win. Joel Tomkins, Gil Dudson, Corentin Le Cam, and Jordan Dezaria make way for the quartet of Fouad Yaha, Paul Seguier, Lambert Belmas, and Jason Batieri.

The French side are unsurprisingly massive favourites to win the game, and should do so in fine style with superiority in every position across the park. Leigh do welcome back a couple of key players in Ben Robinson and Matty Russell, but the pair will not be enough to handle the rampant, physical forwards pack of Catalans. The visiting side also have extra motivation from the potential to top the league with a win, as a result of the postponed matches this weekend.
