One of the Raidersโ€™ big boppers under Ricky Stuart in the middle of the 2010’s, Boydโ€™s big year was 2016: helping Canberra to their first preliminary final since 1997, and playing five Tests for Australia during the end-of-season Four Nations and a warm-up Test against New Zealand in Perth. He has failed to reproduce his best form at the Gold Coast so far. He would definitely be an impact player in this team, destructive in short bursts.
