Having said all that, one of the things noted by rugby league supporters who have made the trip to Toronto is that they have received the warmest of welcomes and that the spectators are incredibly friendly. That may be due to the fact that visitors have come such a long way, and the Canadian crowd are both surprised, and appreciative. If you’ve spent all that money and taken the time, Wolfpack fans want you to have a wonderful experience, no matter what happens on the pitch.

Similarly, many English rugby league supporters speak well of travels to France. Good food, good weather, a nice environment, and not too far, or expensive. It’s not a day trip, more of a long weekend getaway.
But when Toulouse come to Lamport Stadium, leave the band at home. An anonymous tip might see those instruments confiscated at the airport.
