England RL have today announced 10 players as part of their Four Nations train-on squad which sees them get underway v New Zealand on Saturday 29th October and the international test v France a week before.

The Train-on squad sees UK based players only involved until round 7 of the super 8’s stage.

It sees six players picked from Leeds Rhinos, two from Huddersfield Giants and one each from Castleford Tigers and Widnes Vikings.

England’s Initial Train-on Squad 2016:

Kallum Watkinsย (Leeds Rhinos)

Ryan Hallย (Leeds Rhinos)

Tom Briscoeย (Leeds Rhinos)

Zak Hardakerย (Leeds Rhinos)

Kevin Brownย (Widnes Vikings)

The 10 players have been training with new Assistant Coach, the former Huddersfield Giants head coach Paul Anderson and his performance staff from the start of this week (Week beginning Monday 3rd October.) The players have come together to maintain fitness and skills between the end of their respective seasons and start of England’s international fixtures.

The final Four Nations squad will be named on Monday 10th October.

France (A) – Saturday 22nd October 6.30pm

Four Nations

New Zealandย ย – Saturday 29th October 2.30pm

Scotland – Saturday 5th November 5.30pm

Australia – Sunday 13th November 2pm

*Final – Sunday 20th November 2.30pm

*Depends on qualification from group stage
