It will be a tough task for Phil Vievers and his Workington Town side as they travel down to the capital to take on Andrew Henderson’s in form London Broncos. The Broncos go into this fixture having scored 96 points in their last two fixtures against Whitehaven and Sheffield while only conceding 18. Town will be looking to kickstart their second half of the season after narrowly losing to Whitehaven at the Summer Bash despite the best efforts of Jarrod Sammut who scored a hat-rick in Blackpool.

Both sides played on the Saturday in the Championship’s second visit to the seaside. London defeated Sheffield 32-14 in the first league match played on the weekend which saw them dominate much of the match against Mark Aston’s men who later questioned his side’s commitment when speaking to the media after the game. No commitment issues for Town as they just fell short in their derby fixture, Sammut’s hat-rick saw him get man of the match at Bloomfield Road and he will need a stand out performance if his side are to get anything from the long trip south.

London’s 19 man squad – Ackers, Battye, Bussey, Cunnigham, Foster, Garside, Harrison, Hellewell, Ioane, Kear, Leatherbarrow, Macani, Magrin, Naiqama, Offerdahl, Pewhairangi, Slyney, Thackeray, Williams

Workington’s 19 man squad – J.Murphy, Forrerster, Hulme, Mossop, Carter, Forber, Doran, Mattinson, B.Phillips, McAvoy, C.Phillips, Whiteley, Szostak, Walker, Verlinden, Gordon, Ritson, Gee, Sammut.
