Widnes Vikings vs Wigan Warriors (Fri, 8:00pm)

Widnes had lost their last four Super League games before that 90-0 thumping of poor old Coventry in the cup, and itโ€™s fair to say this Wigan side will be a rather different force.

The Warriors are playing some great stuff, with that Castleford win probably being the best theyโ€™ve played against a top side this season.

They had to make a big comeback against Widnes back in March, but if they can continue their current form there shouldnโ€™t be any scare for them against such a depleted Vikings squad.

Prediction: Widnes Vikings 12-44 Wigan Warriors

The Challenge Cup trip to York was seen as a potential banana skin, but despite making it through the manner of the win will have done little to inject confidence into a Dragons side bottom of the table.

Hull just about got the job done against Leeds last week, but generally I thought they were very impressive. Albert Kelly was phenomenal, and they will hope any off-field events wonโ€™t disrupt that.

If they want to stay in the top four Hull need to pick up the two points here, and although I think Catalans will turn in a performance they should just get over the line.

Prediction: Catalans Dragons 18-22 Hull FC

Hull Kingston Rovers vs Leeds Rhinos (Sun, 3:00pm)

Leeds have lost by a drop goal two weeks in a row now, and with just two wins in six they need to turn things around quickly.

Hull KR had no problems at Oldham in the cup last week, so the focus for them goes back to the league where points are precious in their position.

They put in one of their best performances of the season at Elland Road, and with that kind of effort they could certainly cause more trouble for the Rhinos on Sunday.

The Robins will put their all into it, but Leeds have to do the same to keep in touch with the top four and they should just scrape clear.

Prediction: Hull Kingston Rovers 18-24 Leeds Rhinos
