8. Regan Grace Will Be the Top Try Scorer
Embed from Getty ImagesThe Welsh flyer continues to impress for Saints having scored 63 tries in 110 appearances since making his debut for the Merseyside club back in 2017.
There will be several contenders for the award with Ash Handley at Leeds, Tom Johnstone at Wakefield, clubmate Tommy Makinson and Ryan Hall at Hull KR. All prolific finishers in their own right, with the latter one of the competition’s all-time leading try scorers.
However, that said, my pick is 24-year-old Grace who is playing in a settled St Helens side under Kristian Woolf and has an excellent relationship with centres Kevin Naiqama and Mark Percival.
