FOUR POINTERS: Penrith Panthers 38 Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 0

Panthers biggest winning margin over Canterbury

The Penrith Panthers have made a huge impact against the Bulldogs, defeating them 38- nil at ANZ Stadium. The Panthers defended their line terrifically as the Bulldogs were unable to put any points on the scoreboard score any points.

After a terrific performance in particular from Matt Moylan and Josh Mansour, saw the team put on 38 points.

Matt Moylan also made his mark in the number six jersey as the five eighth for the Panthers, impressing throughout the game with attacking plays and grubber kicks. A good five-eighth is essential and this is a positive sign for the Panthers to have someone to rely on to ensure they complete every set of six.

Dogs a no show for Des’ 350th milestone

The Canterbury- Bankstown Bulldogs have failed to show up at ANZ Stadium as they are unable to score any points against the strong Penrith Panthers. With only two Origin stars returning, Klemmer and Jackson the boys in blue and white they were unable to apply any pressure in attack.

Missing captain James Graham and winger Brett Morris the Bulldogs looked soft in attack. They both were definitely missed in action for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs will be hopeful in creating more attacking plays and a better defensive effort as they have the Dragons next round.

Josh Mansour with a warm welcome back

Mansour has returned to a fully fit team after being absent for over six months due to suffering an ACL injury. He ran a total of 212 metres, scored a try, contributed a try-assist and a line break.

Mansour managed to put the icing on the cake for the Penrith Panthers after he scored a terrific try in the 79th minute. His efforts clearly reflect the hard work and determination he’s maintained to play in the NRL again after overcoming his ACL injury.

Mitch Rein impresses in club debut

Making his club debut in the hooker position Mitch Rein impressed for his new club scoring two tries throughout the game. Mitch Rein made 35 tackles throughout the game (the most from either sides), contributed a line break and his two tries.

He had a huge impact for his side who piled on 38 points against the Bulldogs.

Final Score:
