Josh Mercer previews the round seven clash between the Sydney Roosters and the St. George-Illawarra Dragons. This is what we have to look forward to.

FORM LINE

Sydney Roosters

After racking up two big wins against the Broncos and the Bulldogs, the Roosters took on an undefeated Eels team and came up trumps. In what was a very physical encounter, the Roosters endured a spirited comeback from the top-of-the-table Eels to get the win.

St. George-Illawarra Dragons

After a horrible start to the season – one which saw Paul McGregor looking like he may be the first coaching casualty of 2020 – the Dragons won two in a row when they defeated arch-rivals the Sharks and the hapless Titans. Can they rack up three wins in a row?

BATTLE TO WATCH

Adam Clune v Kyle Flanagan

The battle between halves Adam Clune and Kyle Flanagan will be one to watch. Flanagan is starting to find his feet in the star-studded Roosters side and each game he gains confidence. Clune had a big job to do coming into the team, especially after the loss to the Bulldogs, but he has done a good job in the number seven jumper in the wins over the Sharks and the Titans.
