Match Preview

Saints meet the Giants in the second Challenge Cup quarter-final at Headingley on Friday night having played out a close game in Super League just over a fortnight ago where St Helens claimed an eight-point success.

Kristian Woolf is able to include Morgan Knowles in his 21-man squad for the first time this season with Joel Thompson also coming back into the side in place of Jake Wingfield and James Bentley. The latter missing out after suffering a broken leg in last week’s win against Leigh.

Ian Watson makes one change to the side that beat Leeds last time out with Owen Trout coming in for Oliver Russell as the former Salford boss aims to lead the Giants into the last four for the first time since 2012.
