  • July 12: Jamayne Taunoa-Brown loaned to St George-Illawarra on a three-week deal.
  • July 12: New Zealand Warriors cancel their Mount Smart Stadium fixture against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs after deciding to stay in south-east Queensland for the remainder of 2021.
  • July 12: Hubs for NRL clubs relocating: Sunshine Coast – Panthers, Knights, Sea Eagles and Roosters; Gold Coast – Eels, Bulldogs, Rabbitohs, Raiders, Warriors; Brisbane – Dragons, Sharks, Tigers.
  • July 13: NRL Team News for Round 18 announced.
  • July 13: Venues announced for relocated NSW matches in Round 18: Sea Eagles Vs Dragons (CBUS Stadium), Raiders Vs Sharks (CBUS Stadium), Warriors Vs Panthers (Suncorp Stadium) and Rabbitohs Vs Bulldogs (CBUS Stadium).
  • July 14: Joseph Suaalii ruled out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury.
  • July 14: Queensland defeat New South Wales 20-18 in the final Origin game. Tom Trbojevic wins the Wally Lewis Medal for Player of the Series.
  • July 15: Jake Turpin re-signs with Brisbane Broncos (2022).
  • July 15: Mitch Kenny re-signs with Penrith Panthers (2022).
  • July 15: Melbourne Storm announce relocation to Queensland as the Melbourne goes into a five day lockdown.
  • July 15: NRL reschedule Saturday fixtures: Cowboys Vs Roosters (3pm, QLD Country Bank Stadium), Raiders Vs Sharks (5:30pm, CBUS Stadium) and Storm Vs Knights (7:30pm, CBUS Stadium).
  • July 15: South Sydney Rabbitohs announce coaching staff for 2022. Jason Demetriou (Head Coach), Ben Hornby and John Morris (Assistant Coaches).
  • July 15: Rugby League World Cup organisers confirm the event will go ahead in October and November this year.
  • July 16: Newcastle Knights re-sign Daniel Saifiti (2026) and Jacob Saifiti (2023).
  • July 16: Phil Gould appointed as Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs General Manager.
