  • July 28: James Roberts issued a breach notice for failing to comply with Queensland Public Health directives receiving a one match ban and $7,500 fine.
  • July 28: Canberra Raiders re-sign Elliott Whitehead (2024).
  • July 28: Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs sign Paul Vaughan (2022).
  • July 28: Penrith Panthers re-sign Scott Sorensen (2023).
  • July 29: Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Leeson Ah Mau leave NRL bubble to return to New Zealand ahead of Trans-Tasman bubble closure.
  • July 30: Melbourne Storm re-sign Ryan Papenhuyzen (2025).
  • July 31: south-east Queensland snap COVID lockdown for three days from 4pm announced by the Queensland Government, leading to a postponement of NRL fixutres. Games rescheduled to Suncorp Stadium for the remainder of the weekend at the following timeslots: Sunday – 1:50pm Knights Vs Raiders, 4:05pm Storm Vs Panthers, 6:25pm Dragons Vs Rabbitohs; Monday – 6pm Bulldogs Vs Titans, 8:05pm Sharks Vs Sea Eagles.
  • August 2: Sydney Roosters sign Dale Copley for the remainder of 2021.
