Preview

Saturday’s action begins with Salford taking on Hull FC at the Totally Wicked Stadium. The Airlie Birds impressed in their round one win against Huddersfield while Salford lacked creativity in their defeat against Saints.

Salford make one change from the side beaten by St Helens as Andy Ackers returns to Richard Marshall’s 21-man squad in place of Morgan Escare.

Hull are forced into one change to their 21-man squad with Josh Bowden unavailable after picking up a concussion against the Giants last time out, with Connor Wynne coming into the side.

Prediction

This is one of the tougher games to predict in round two with Hull heading into the clash as favourites following their superb display against Huddersfield and Josh Reynolds looking at his imperious best. Salford have a strong squad on paper and will be glad to see the back of St Helens but might have to wait to secure their first win of the campaign. I’m backing the Airlie Birds in this one.
