MATCHDAY PREVIEW

The juicy grand final rematch has lost some steam with key outs for both teams, but the Broncos will be out for revenge after their heartbreaking loss six months ago. Both sides are coming off impressive victories last week, with the Panthers overcoming the Eels and the Broncos defeating the Rabbitohs.

James Fisher-Harris is out this week, after injuring his shoulder in round 2, in a big blow for the Panthers. Lindsay Smith has been named to start with Matt Eisenhuth coming onto the bench. Daine Laurie has held his spot in the 17, with Soni Luke 18th Man.

The Broncos will be without Adam Reynolds, which will be tough to overcome. Jock Madden has been named at halfback in his place in the only change for the side. Payne Haas was under an injury cloud but he is set to start in the front row.

With no Reynolds, more pressure will be on the likes of Reece Walsh and Ezra Mam to create their attacking opportunities against a tough Penrith defence.

Perhaps one of the most intriguing battles will be on the edge between Izack Tago and Selwyn Cobbo. Both star centres ran all over their opponents last week and whoever has a bigger impact will go a long way to getting their team an important win.

Head-to-head stats can be found at Round 3 Number Crunch.
