Round 23 Interesting Stats

Sydney Roosters have won both games at the SCG versus Manly since 1998 by the combined score of 72-16.

Manly have lost six out of seven away games on a Thursday.

Friday will be the first time that the Gold Coast has played on a Friday this season. That’s a good thing. They are on a seven-game losing streak on a Friday.

Warriors have won five out of six on a Friday this season.

Panthers have won 18 of their 20 home games on a Friday since 2020.

Cowboys have won their last five home games against Brisbane on a Saturday.

Although the game is in Perth, Newcastle’s record away to Queensland teams is woeful. The Knights have lost 19 away games in a row to Queensland sides.

South Sydney have lost their last three games in Perth. Cronulla have won their only clash.

Parramatta have won their last seven home games on a Sunday.

Canberra has won their last six games v Wests Tigers and ten of their last 11.

Wests Tigers have lost 15 Sunday games in a row played in either NSW or ACT.
