The Broncos have finished their dominant NRLW season with a grand final win, smashing the Roosters 34 – 6 in front of a crowd of 16,214.

If being the first NRLW Premiers wasn’t enough, the Broncos finished the competition undefeated with a 110-30 points differential.

While it was 6-6 early in the first half, the Broncos dominant attack saw them set themselves up early for a big win. A double to five-eighth Kimiora Nati and a penalty try helped the score line reach 28-6 at half time.

The Roosters came back stronger in the second half with an early try to Lavina O’Mealey, but errors and injuries to Isabelle Kelly (MCL) and Taleena Simon (ankle) saw them unable to hold off the Broncos. When Nati crossed for her third try late in the first half, it became too late for a fairytale comeback.

Kimiora Nati was deservingly awarded the Karyn Murphy Medal for best on field, for her stellar performance and a hat-trick.
