Well done to Josh Mansour who takes out Queensland Panthers Supporters 2016 Player of the Year.
Sauce edged out captain Matt Moylan and the club’s official Player of the Year Trent Merrin for the title.
It was another outstanding year for the winger who recently got married before suffering a devastating ACL injury this week training with the Kangaroos Four Nations squad.
This year he also represented New South Wales for the first time having already made his international debut for the Kangaroos back in 2014.
He was ever consistent in clocking metres at important times first or second tackle back from kick returns with a season high of 275 metres in our Finals win over Canterbury.
In addition Mansour scored sixteen tries to take his tally with the Panthers to 48 in 87 appearances.
Nathan Cleary was an outstanding choice for Rookie of the Year after bursting onto the National Rugby League scene mid-season.
In fifteen games Cleary showed plenty of talent in organising the attack and showing he has his dad’s genes when it comes to goal kicking. ย Nathan’s success rate at 80% to date with Ivan averaging 77%.
He looks set to join his father in the 1,000 points club even at this early stage of his career.
