Welcome to the first NothingButLeague NRL Team of the Week new for 2016. Each week the writers submit their best 13 players from the weekend’s action, and the players with the most nominations get the honour of being named in our Team of the Week.
Unsurprisingly this week features a few Rabbitohs after their big win against local rivals Roosters, and there’s plenty of Queenslanders after wins for all three teams. Even players on losing sides made our list.
Like squads named for the first week of the season, we have an extended squad for the early rounds.
