SQUAD NEWS

Toronto Wolfpack

Toronto are yet to name their 19-man squad for Saturday’s clash, but made just one change to their team for the defeat at Salford last week and there are no known injury doubts.

That defeat at the AJ Bell Stadium was a second setback against Super League opposition in the Qualifiers, and this match will be seen as must-win if the Wolfpack want to achieve automatic promotion.

Toulouse Olympique

Toulouse coach Sylvain Houles makes three changes to the squad for last week’s disappointing defeat away at London Broncos.

Gavin Marguerite returns from injury and could make his first appearance of the Qualifiers, while Tony Maurel and Clement Boyer also come back in. Bastien Canet, Paul Seguier and Arthur Romano drop out.

Like Toronto, the French side have picked up two wins from the four matches so far, but with Hull KR and Salford still to play, victory here may be required to make the Million Pound Game.

Toulouse 19-man squad: Kheirallah, Maurel, Ader, Marguerite, Ford, Robin, Boyer, Marion, Planas, Curran, Puech, Hepi, Rapira, Marcon, Centrone, Sangare, Bretherton, Mika, Seguier, Barthau.

HEAD TO HEAD

These two teams have faced each other twice in the regular Championship season.

Toronto won both, just scrapping a 24-22ย victory in France before a 43-30 score in the reverse, played as a part of the Magic Weekend in Newcastle. Will Paul Rowley’s side make it three in a row?

KEY BATTLE – Mark Kheirallah vs Gareth O’Brien

It’s the battle of the full-backs, withย both bringing big experience and skill to their respective teams.

O’Brien has been playing fantastically well since his arrival from Salford and isย certainly of Super League quality, and it will be interesting to see how it gets on facing his opposing full-back.

Kheirallah has been in brilliant form for Toulouse in 2018 and is one of the brightest talents outside the top tier,ย and the form is continuing throughout the Qualifiers. Who will come out on top with their clubs come Saturday?
