An excellent first half by the Panthers has set up victory over the Titans 15-14 at CBUS Super Stadium.

Tries to Moyza and Waqa within the first twenty minutes gave us a twelve point lead. Waqa unlucky not to have a second as he ran the length of the field to score only for the officials to pull up an off-the-ball incident earlier in the play.

Going in with a fourteen point lead the Panthers struggled early in the second half and allowed the Titans back into the game. ย When Greg Bird stretched out to score with twelve to play the margin was reduced to two points. ย Tyrone Roberts penalty goal four minutes from time squared scores.

But it was another Tyrone who decided the game. ย Tyrone Peachey had a superb game which resulted in making a break in the final moments to allow Moyza to kick the winning field goal.

Four in a row and momentum now heading into the finals.

Thanks to the players for coming over post game and for the club to organise a player meet and greet the night before.
